Time for Peace

 Yes, Mr. President has addressed us, and that is what we asked for. How we feel about it, it is another thing. 

The main issue is that our voice has been heard, not only in Nigeria but all over the world. We have passed our message, and president has said he heard us loud and clear. In order to make our voice heard, we have made sacrifice; we have washed our flag in our blood. Now we need wind of peace to dry it; let us allow the sun of peace to shine upon it that it might dry. Better day will not come if we do not allow peace to reign.

It is now time for peace to reign. Anarchy will not bring the better day but rather make the better day more laborious and toilsome.

Our submission to dialogue can never be a sign of weakness but that of wisdom. We need peace for a better day. War cannot bring peace but dialogue does. Let us not forget the vision of our nation: To build a nation where peace and justice reign. 

We pray that the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain. Amen.
